The Ample Warning Strip
There are things I’d imagine you don’t want to think of your siblings doing, and this would be near the top. I say I imagine, because I have no siblings. Of course, if this was a Japanese hentai strip, the door would have been opened slightly, and things would have gone a bit differently. Coincidentally, traffic would have increased tenfold.
Ponder, ponder…
So I won another Stanley Cup. This happens a lot when you are a Red Wings fan, which I have been, going on eighteen years now. This one was a bit more interesting with the great stories surrounding guys like Chris Osgood, Darren McCarty and Dallas Drake, and I will admit things got a little dusty in the house as they passed the Cup around. Something… just something in my eye, honest. I kind of wish Stevie would have come down to hoist the mug along with the boys, but I can understand why he didn’t; it was their moment, and he would invariably take away from it. Could the guy be classier?
Here’s to Hockeytown, and with the cap room Detroit has, here’s also to pretty decent shot at it all again next year.
Tom recommends TWC for voting, so I may switch to that next week after I sniff the numbers. Until then, keep voting, sirs and madams! If Buzzcomix does have a lower traffic total, then we might be able to push Aikida into the top ten, and let the T&A banner do its work.
I’m going to spend the weekend on my art; I am not satisfied with it at all. Hopefully my experimenting produces a wallpaper, and maybe even a donation incentive. Yes, money! Me want.
Finally, along with the old Aikida archives, I’ve now posted the long forgotten Pepperwood archives. This was a very, very short-lived series, but as it developed, I think it was some of my best writing. You may agree, you may disagree, you may have never read it, so you don’t know! Alleviate this!
Hard links to these archives will be buried on the site eventually.
Good day!

Love the way your artwork and style improved. Good job!

Hey, the pepperwood archives kinda die off and the last two don’t load all the way, just an FYI.
Love the storyline, loved the old archives of Aikida too and I’d never read any of your work before, glad BTC linked me over here.
Keep up the stellar work.

Fernis, it is amazing that you are back. You should really update the blurb on your Buzzcomics page however, to reflect your returned status, to all those people who have visitied your site before, but have lost the link, and my not realize you have returned with more of your excellent Canadian flavoured humor.
Also, you should put all your former donation incentives as vote incentives. That would garner you a lot of votes. Just put that on your buzzcomics blurb. You’d be at number one faster then you can say 44-40 or fight.

Ha ha, you won the cup eh? I like how you single handedly stopped Crosby while battling bears on one ice skate in triple overtime, I think that was the turning point.
This comic = awesome.
