Neither do eyes, noses, hair or pretty much anything else I draw. I understand you're just trying to get a rise here, but I came to terms with the fact that I am a mediocre artist a long time ago, sir.

About the bed against a wall, it just seems sensible to want as much of a view as possible, and therefore place the head against a wall so that when you sit up, you can see as much of a room as possible without turning around. (Would that be the "primitive protective instinct"?) Also, in case you want to have a bedside table near the head of the bed, wouldn't you rather have that too along the wall rather than in the middle of a room where it's more likely to be in the way? And I've got a lamp on the wall above the head of my bed. Which I rarely sleep in, because I tend to fall asleep in my couch, with my head about a meter from the nearest wall. And here I sit with my back towards a corner blocked by a door that's always open, just waiting for an intruder to step out from that all too convenient hiding place. Modern life has dulled my primitive protective instincts.

And I wasn't here on June the 18th, because it was only today that I spotted the familiar name "Aikida" over at Frumph's WebComic List, Ratings & Reviews. Apparently I must've missed the Mail Order Bride comic. Or did I? It does sound kind of familiar.
