I don’t even know if there is some higher-up sort of guy at Blizzard that is enjoying the vast sums of money that the company is making, but if he exists, I imagine he is all about purchasing a spaceship,  and has assassins on stand by.  It would be a position to aspire for.

So yes, I missed a strip, and almost missed two, though it is still Wednesday on the west coast, so we’re safe.  No excuses here, I wasn’t sick or anything, I just needed a break.  At one point on Monday, the thought of working panels just started to give me huge amounts of anxiety, and I suspect it was a mixture of things, including throwing myself into the strip again too much (as in it was all I was doing, I wasn’t balancing anything, and that is bad).  The other would be the art style, which while it was looking good, it was becoming increasingly hard to work with.  Scanning artwork was inconsistent, and working with it on the computer was becoming irritating.  I went back to inks for this strip, but I did like the pencils.  I’ll work on trying to find a happy medium.

That’s about it, I still need to relax a bit.  I am half apologetic about not mentioning it on Monday, but I figured the people who get pissed off are still going to be pissed, and the people who don’t care still wouldn’t care.  Considering my state of agitation, I think it is actually a good sign that I pretty much forced the strip out today.  So there’s your silver lining.
