The Dukes of Hazzard as plantation slave owners is fucking funny, and you know it.

This strip took about five hours longer to do than I expected, so this is going to be a pretty brief post.

Friday is going to be the start of a new donation incentive and push for a goal, a pretty solid push because this site is up for renewal in just under two months, which is more than I can afford right now. Also, I need to eat, so there’s that. The good news (other than the fact that you’re keeping this site up and me alive) is that there will be a fairly interactive reward if we do hit that goal, for everyone. Also, there will most likely be donation incentives of the naked variety, because naked is how God intended us to be. More details on all of this will be here on Friday.

Monday we broke the traffic record for this iteration of the comic. This is a good sign. Aikida, at its peak, averaged about 5,000 unique visitors per day, and we’re almost back to half of that. This is actually pretty good for three months of work. Keep reading, and keep spreading the word… we must return people to the fold. And then we can all drink the punch together.

Also, don’t forget to check out the Aikida IRC channel. If you don’t have an IRC client, you can download mIRC here… then just install it, and click the link. Voila… you’re in a spartan channel with me most likely watching Family Guy or playing LOTRO. Or both.

Though I won’t be in until later today because I need some fucking sleep. IRC is all about idling anyway.

Finally, I saw this clip on Barry’s site. Shout out to Barry and his strip, he is one of the old guard creators out there, and its good to see he is still at it. Anyway, here is the clip.
