The Salesman Pt. 1 Strip
Better late than never. Our goal is three per week, so we’re still on pace.
I know some people are barking about my ability to keep a deadline, and I won’t deny it is a fair accusation, for the most part. I’m struggling with keeping up right now. That being said, this had been the most consistent run of Aikida since it’s inception. We’ve had some filler days, some days I have to still colour, but we’ve only had two missed days since relaunch. I do feel bad about, and I’m working on it. My schedule has been flip flopping all the past week, which I think hasn’t helped. This sort of work makes it hard to keep a consistent life schedule, and I apologize if it is fucking things up.
But as I said, we’re still on pace for three strips this week.
I’m excited for football season, as I suspect a few of you may be as well… I know we have to have a few NFL fans out there. I plan to have a more detailed write up on my thoughts concerning the upcoming games, for the 3% of readers who are interested, and maybe I’ll have that ready for Wednesday or Friday.
As for donations, the August special will be running until the new incentives are ready. This my be you last chance to get some artwork for a few months.
NOTE: The Wednesday strip will probably also be a late one, though this time some of the blame is not on me! Aaron is masterminding this little arc, and our schedules are conflicting of late (He lives in New Zealand, I live in a civilized, orc-free country), thus I don’t have a script yet. So wear a helmet and expect the worst, but hope for the best.

Dude, I love your work, but you suck ass at deadlines. ‘Later today’ is now ‘yesterday’.
I suck at deadlines too. My advice is not to set them if you’re not certain you can meet them.

Just to clarify, since I think I came across like a raging asshole:
I didn’t mean ‘UR R TEH SUX. DIE’. I meant that having a more flexible ‘when it’s done’ would be less irritating to me and I assume others than making you feel bad and doing this ‘post placeholder, insert art asap’ thing.

I used to read the old Aikida comics, and have been poking my head in every couple months hoping to see some new comics. After a long day, it was a pleasant surprise to find new comics.
