The Second Present Strip
Alright, this one was late again, but a few hours beats a week I think. Good news is, a new strip should be up Monday.
Now, this banner you see to the left of this post might cause some controversy. You might think, after months of slow updates, putting up a new donation incentive is borderline outrageous. And you may have a point.
My thinking was this… if you’re unhappy enough not to donate, then do not. The option is there only for people who want to, and who may also want what (I think, personally) turned out to be a great image of Aikida. The picture is a nude version of today’s pin-up, and I’m not upset with how it turned out. So do what you will. I apologize for the past few months, and it is not to blame on any one thing (to those who said I left to play WoW should note there was a week or so when I hadn’t even logged in. No, this was a bigger issue, sorry.)
I’m ready to start again, with business as usual, and today’s donation incentive is business. I have to deal with some miscalculations with some past donations, so this is a start.
Donate if you feel like it, do not if you don’t. This month’s incentive is only ten bucks, also something of an apology.
Either way, today’s image is still a pretty good one I think
Also I changed something about Aikida slightly. See if you can find it.

Oh, one thing I forgot…
@Fenris: Is there any chance we can get the old/ classic Aikida donation incentives? I wouldn’t mind paying for them now, because I couldn’t donate back then. You get money, I get art. It’s like win - win for both of us, right?

After the last couple of years of stopping and starting I got quite attached to the charters in your strip. I have been liking the recent stories and the funny one offs and the reintroduction of the cast. I dig your art even though you seem to think it’s a chore (no really I think your art is really, really good and you should keep doing it. Apart from the fact that all the girls seem to have breast implants which ain’t my thing but funnily enough I am not in it for the boobs). I have donated because the way the comic is developing right now should continue. Keep at it mate.
