The Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell Strip
You’ll notice a few things odd with this strip. One, it is late. Two, it is black and white. These are related.
Seems my main desktop computer has decided to be difficult, and I am at present trying to figure out what the problem is. It started last week, and came to a head when my video just absolutely cut out. I’m really hoping it’s not my shiny six hundred dollar video card.
This has left me with my not-so robust laptop to work with, which has none of my usual art files or graphics programs, so it may take a few days to sort everything out. I am not a laptop guy, I find them hard to work with when art is concerned, so have patience.
Also, since my desktop computer is down I haven’t had access to my email in a few days. I hope to have this all seen to as quickly as possible.

It most likely will be your video card. I’d reccomend you try a different monitor if you have one around the house. The same problem hit me a while back, so we got a new monitor. That didn’t solve anything, so my dad just got a scrap computer from work and fixxed it up with lots of stuff from their “junk pile”. Works really well.

I like where this is going…
Check the temps in your system. My guess is you have some overheating on vid card.

If you have a monitor driver installed, it can always be useful to remove that. They’re useless and cause problems. If it works with a different monitor, then that’s the issue. If you don’t have another monitor, you can try a TV and s-video or HDMI.

Just a correction, but it’s not ‘odd’ that it’s late. It’s expected.
