The Octopussy Strip
I’m pretty sure this is the first time I’ve used the word “vadge” in a strip, and really, only Pepper could say it. Maybe Tito, but only Pepper wouldn’t get hit for it. As I am sure you’ve suspected, the tattoo will be revealed on Wednesday, the final strip of this janky, but still completed, chapter. Hooray for being able to use the word janky as well as vadge in a newspost. And they’re not even real words.
Exciting Super Bowl last night. I was hoping for the Cardinals to pull it out, as I am a big fan of Kurt Warner’s, but at least they put on a good show, and Warner did his job (other than the overrated James Harrison INT. This was not more exciting than the Helmet catch. Let’s be serious here.) I wonder how the game would have went if the Cards hadn’t racked up one hundred plus yards in penalties, but unlike the Seahawks Bowl game, Arizona can’t blame the refs (well, totally). They made a lot of nervous and stupid mistakes.
But what a great final ten minutes. The last two Super Bowls have been pretty epic television. Congratulations to the Steelers. Cards defense… I’d hate to be you this morning.

I really thought Sydney’s face in the first panel was cute. I’m also liking the slightly darker skin tone on Aikida, granted she’s never been pale before but I think adding just a little bit more of a darker shade does indeed give her an even more exotic look to her. Good stuff.

Ooo this gets interesting.. and here I was thinking all the time that this is a story to show how Aikida got her tattoos (which we obviously saw in her biceps on old times) but it wasn’t! Good move.

It might be on her upper back, so it might be too hard to see if she just lifts her shirt. Therefore she must take off her top.

That octopus is the cutest! I have a friend whom I think would love it. Any chance you could add a right-way-up picture of it somewhere? It would make a cool avatar.

Yeah I think the tattoo might be on her upper back, should be sexy in any case. Im just really looking forward to seeing Wednesdays colored page. Sydney looks really cute in panel 2 =], great work Josh!
