The Beautiful Act of Arts and Crafts Procreation
This strip is a day overdue since I misinformed myself about the hours of my source of free wireless. What sort of library closes at 5 pm on a Friday? This one. This one does. No steady source of the series of tubes is something of a burden, but we will make do. We must.
This strip is… well, I think it describes itself. It is also much better drawn than the previous, I think, though Pepper inexplicably has lipstick on in the third panel. She just does. We have to accept that fact and move on with our lives.
I felt somewhat douche-ish for throwing up a donation picture so soon after returning, but to me, it is just being proactive. Get something up while I have the urge to draw, and do it early in case there are people out there with kind souls and disposable income. To make up for it somewhat, I did do a rather free wallpaper image, which you can find in the Extras section.
I considered just calling it the “Bootylicious” image, because it really does unveil Aikida in all her curvy gloriousness. I like how the image turned out, and love the look (and her hair!). Some people complain that Aikida and her curves are somewhat unrealistic, but this is kind of the point. One, she is a cartoon. Work that one out. Two, part of what makes her her is that she does have this unrealistic body, and her inability to fully come to terms with it is one of her layers.
This is the amazon I wanted. Sydney and Pepper are skinny enough for the “realists” I hope, leave the men their fantasies.
I saw “Up in the Air” finally, and it was fantastic. Like, watch-twice-in-a-row fantastic. The scene where Anna Kendrick starts crying in the airport was the funniest, most charming thing I’ve seen in a movie in a long time. Go see it, it can appeal to anyone with an above-average intelligence, I promise.
New strip on Monday or Tuesday, hopefully. Go Saints, Go Colts. (I’ve probably just jinxed them both)
