Main Characters

Aikida Kishiro

Born to a Japanese mother and Irish, Sean Connery-hating father, Aikida Kishiro learned at a young age she would always be seen as uncomfortably different. Tall, shapely and stunningly beautiful, she learned these qualities would always be a hindrance to people getting to know the caring, cunning and sharp-witted (and very sharp tongued) young woman beneath. Fleeing the small town scrutiny of Dawson City, she finds herself in Pepperwood College… becoming fast friends with Pepper Soufflé and eager to prove that there’s more to this girl than looks alone.

Aikida is an avid tennis player, with desires to go pro even though she is older than most girls when they start out. She is determined, though, and takes this goal to an almost obsessive level.

Morgan Frost
Age: 21 Birth Date/Place: December 10th, 1987, Pitt Meadows, BC Height: 6-1 Weight: 174 lbs

Morgan may possibly be the most sane member of the male trio, and rivals Aikida in sensibility… at times. Morgan is not immune to the rampant idiocy that sweeps through his house sometimes, and has some extravagancies that even he must indulge in, including the need to have the most superior technology in his computer and a hatred for ATi that rivals Wade’s love for it.

Morgan, and his older sister Kassandra, come from a very wealthy family, but unlike his sibling, he chooses to ignore said riches to remain with his friends. This is not to say that Morgan does not have his snobbish side, an aspect of himself he doesn’t quite recognise and can’t quite shake. Morgan is also gay, though single, and seems to enjoy tormenting his hetero roommates with it, though he really has no interest in them, sexually.

Pepper Soufflé
Age: 20 Birth Date/Place: March 22nd, 1988, New Westminister, BC Height: 5-8 Weight: One hundred and *cough* pounds

Quirky and with emotions ranging from frighteningly eager to disturbingly disinterested, Pepper is in many ways the perfect counter to her new best friend, Aikida. Never afraid to say what she thinks, or do what she wants, “Pep” has something of a reputation as an odd one and a tomboy. Tragically, she lost her parents, and now finds herself in a weird area between goofy friend and responsible adult, as she took on the task of taking care of her little sister, Sydney. Pepper is like Aikida in many ways though, also trying to prove that under her silly, impulsive exterior is a friend of solid character, and a romantic intellectual.

Sydney Soufflé
Age: 17? Birth Date/Place: May 5th, 1991 (maybe?), New Westminister, BC Height: 5-2 Weight: 102 lbs.

Pepper’s free spirited little sister, Sydney, much like her elder sibling, is a little different. Feeling free to do things her own way, Syd is just as comfortable dyeing her hair as she is inventing a role playing version of Hungry Hungry Hippos, or a 3000 gHz CPU out of an old AMD Duron chip and a tamagotchi whom she lovingly referred to as “William”. (or, “Bill”) Still only in high school, Sydney is sometimes overwhelmed with the fact she lives “on her own” to some effect, Pepper acting as her sister and parent since the deaths of their mother and father. Still, she manages to keep going, in her own unique way.

Quincy “Tito” Taylor
Age: 19 Birth Date/Place: October 10th, 1989, Hamilton, Ont Height: 6-2 Weight: 218 lbs.

With aspirations to make it “big” in the porn industry some day, Quincy “Tito” Taylor was naturally drawn to the field Business Communications in Pepperwood College. He met Wade and Morgan in their final year of high school and somewhat abducted the pair as best friends, dragging or following them wherever the road of fate beckoned. Half extrovert, half philosopher, all man, Tito has a reputation of a womanizer and narcissist, but is also bluntly honest and loyal to fault. Where the nickname “Tito” comes from, he’s not saying.

Wade McBob
Age: 20 Birth Date/Place: April 9th, 1988, Winnipeg, Manitoba Height: 6-0 Weight: 181 lbs

Ranging from brashly jovial to sullen and quiet, Wade McBob runs the gamut of emotions and phases of a young man becoming an adult, seeking to find a place and purpose. With a deep love of writing (specifically journalism), and all things geek-related (games, comics, movies, etc), Wade endeavours to balance these quirks with the demands of growing up and potential relationships.

Prone to swings of near madness when it comes to his devotion to games and comics and all things pop culture, there is still a serious and almost pained side to him. He is a loyal friend, though not without fault… in fact, he has many. Still, Wade cannot imagine a future without his friends, and thus his life has become a massive balancing act.

Giovanna “Gio” Giordana
Age: 28 Birth Date/Place: June 3rd, 1980, Toronto, Ontario Height: 5-5 Weight:Unknown

Not much is known about Gio at this time, other than that she is a bit older than the rest of the girls and guys, has a daughter named Dani, and may be bi-sexual.  She is also an excellent tattoo artist. (And artist in general)

Marcus Welund
Age: 22 Birth Date/Place: February 6th, 1987, Victoria, BC Height: 5-11 Weight:165 lbs.

Marc seems to be Aikida’s boyfriend, though the relationship seems mostly cordial and strained.  He also acts as her tennis coach.  Morgan once surmised that Marc treats Aikida with too much gentility, and that was causing their relationship to stagnate.

Skateboard
Age: 3 Birth Date/Place: April 24th, 2005, Daisy Hill Kitty Farm, BC Height: Cat height! Weight: 26 lbs (fat!)

Wrought of fire and forged from the sundered crests of the obsidian peaks of…

No wait.

Skateboard was born at the Daisy Hill Kitty Farm in southern British Columbia and purchased as a kitten by Morgan Frost, who promptly began to feed the poor bastard until he ballooned to epic proportions. Inherently lazy and spurred to even further laziness by his burgeoning fat ass, Skateboard received his name because it was deduced his only means of locomotion at this point would be to lay upon a skateboard and be pulled around by a team of well trained dogs.

Skateboard is still a good natured kitty, though, and prone to very brief moments of spryness. Very, very, brief.
